Day 2
Play at Craigielaw
Craigielaw is situated just 20 miles east of Edinburgh amidst the glorious coastal scenery of East Lothian, Scotland. Inspired by great links courses, particularly those on land which are less dominated by dunes, Craigielaw is equal to many of the finest examples of such courses which are conveniently located nearby in the East Lothian area. The new clubhouse is a stunning contemporary building, formed with the former steading. This is a fantastic course build in the true Scottish “Links” style. The excellent facilities at Craigielaw also include a full size “grass” driving range, a beautiful manicured 6 hole par 3 course and it is the home of the Eric Grandison Golf School.

Day 3
Play at North Berwick
Established 1832
The 13th oldest Golf Club in the world, North Berwick is second only to the Royal Ancient of St. Andrews for continuous play over the same course. One of the most natural links in the world. Many holes have been copied by designers all over the world, most commonly the 14th named “Perfection” and the 15th called “Redan”
which have been both replicated in both Peeble Beach and Shinnecock Hills. Experience breathtaking views over the Bass Rock and the Firth of Forth. Not to be missed.

Day 4
Play at Gullane No 1
Set on the shores of the Firth of Forth in beautiful East Lothian, Gullane offers three superb links courses, Gullane1, 2 and 3. Gullane No.1 frequently hosts final qualifying for the British Open when at Muirfield and has hosted many major amateur events. You will encounter tight fairways, pot bunkers, rough, gorse thickets and well guarded greens which make playing here a fair but serious challenge. Nowhere on the course do the panorama views get better than from the top of Gullane hill and the 7th tee, described by renowned writer Bernard Darwin as “one of the best views in golf” on a clear day one can see for miles with the Lammermuir Hills, Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock making up the stunning panorama. Gullane with 300 years of history is a “must play” for all golfers.

Day 5
Play at Dunbar
Established 1856
Dunbar designed by Old Tom Morris around 1850. Dunbar East Links situated on the estuary of the Firth of Forth, is a breathtaking layout of a championship links course that stretches across 6404 yards of coastal terrain. All of the major Scottish championship have been played here, the Scottish Amateur, Professional Championship and Scottish Boys Championship and the course has been used as an Open qualifier on several occasions in recent years. This is a classic links course with outstanding views of the May Island and the Firth of Forth.

The Home of Golf, St.Andrews. Great legends in golf have all triumphed on these hallowed links such as Morris, Palmer, Nicklaus, Faldo, Ballesteros, Els and Woods. While on route to winning the greatest prize in golf The Open and the coveted “Claret Jug”. The mention of St. Andrews alone is enough to stir up excitements in the hearts of every golfer and the prospect of playing here is omething to dream about. Names like “The Road Hole”, “Valley of Sin”,“Hell Bunker” and “The Swilken Burn” are known the world over in golfing circles and conjure up memories of spectacular rounds played by the golfing legends of years gone by. St. Andrews is a friendly little seaside town with it’s own university and historic past. St.Andrews is “a mecca” for golfers from all over the world, wishing to play on his hallowed turf, and emulate their golfing heroes or just to say “I have been to St. Andrews”.

Day 7
Play at Gleneagles
Gleneagles boasts three superb parkland golf courses, the King’s Course and Queen’s Course, both designed by the legendary James Braid and the modern Monarch’s Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. While the King’s Course is perceived as being the jewel in Gleneagles’ crown, picking the best would be a difficult decision to make.
The King’s Course has drawn nothing but the highest prices from various golfing experts. When Lee Trevino first played here, he remarked “if heaven is as good as this, I sure hope they have some tee times left”. Braid’s plan for the King’s Course was to test even the most accomplished golfers’ shot making skills, a goal he achieved with admirable results. One of the most exhilarating venues at which to play golf, the King’s Course offers a majestic layout, springy moorland turf and sweeping views of the surrounding countryside.
