With courses such as Muirfield, Gullane, Craigielaw, Dunbar and North Berwick, not forgetting Musselburgh Links, you won’t be disappointed. Tradition has it that Mary Queen of Scots played on Musselburgh Links in 1567. All courses enjoy breathtaking views over the Firth of Forth and are blessed with natural beauty. This region has 20 first class golf courses within a 15 minute drive and is the most concentrated area for top class golf in the world. The Scottish East Coast – Edinburgh's Golf Coast - a great place to be!

Day 1
Arrive in Scotland and be meet by your Scottish-Golf-Tours representative who will assist you with your luggage and the collection of your rental car (Edinburgh Airport). Drive to your choosen Hotel.

Day 2
Play at Craigielaw
Craigielaw is situated just 20 miles east of Edinburgh amidst the glorious coastal scenery of East Lothian, Scotland. Inspired by great links courses, particularly those on land which are less dominated by dunes, Craigielaw is equal to many of the finest examples of such courses which are conveniently located nearby in the East Lothian area. The new clubhouse is a stunning contemporary building, formed with the former steading. This is a fantastic course build in the true Scottish “Links” style. The excellent facilities at Craigielaw also include a full size “grass” driving range, a beautiful manicured 6 hole par 3 course and it is the home of the Eric Grandison Golf School

Day 3
Play at The Glen North Berwick
The Glen Golf Club, North Berwick plays its golf on the East Links in North Berwick, in the heart of the famous Edinburgh Golf Coast. Described by Golf Monthly as “.. one of the most underrated and best values courses in Scotland”, this spectacular and quality par 70 course offers all-year-round golf at affordable prices for players of all ages and abilities. The course signature hoe, The Sea Hole, nestles amongst the rocks and the beach in the shadow of the famous Bass Rock bird sanctuary, featured regularly by BBC TV. The par three is included in Golf World´s “Dream 18 holes” and graces the cover of the popular book “The Most Extraordinary Golf Holes in Britain.” A memorable round reaches a stunning climax with a drive from the elevated 18th tee offering spectacular views of North Berwick, the Firth of Forth and its famous islands which include Fidra, the inspiration for Robert Louis Stephenson´s “Treasure Island”

Day 4
Play at Kilspindie
The 35th oldest golf club in the world is a Scottish links retaining its original, traditional features. This medium length course is nonetheless a good test of golf and a challenge to all golfers. Several holes border the shoreline and each hole enjoys magnificent views of the Firth of Forth and the Edinburgh skyline.
Special feature – 8th hole, par three overlooks Gosford Bay and demands a shot that will carry over the beach – a challenge on a windy day.

Day 5
Play at Craigielaw

Day 6
Pay at Gullane No 2
Set on the shores of the Firth of Forth in beautiful East Lothian, Gullane offers three superb links courses, Gullane1, 2 and 3. Gullane No.1 frequently hosts final qualifying for the British Open when at Muirfield and has hosted many major amateur events. You will encounter tight fairways, pot bunkers, rough, gorse thickets and well guarded greens which make playing here a fair but serious challenge. Nowhere on the course do the panorama views get better than from the top of Gullane hill and the 7th tee, described by renowned writer Bernard Darwin as “one of the best views in golf” on a clear day one can see for miles with the Lammermuir Hills, Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock making up the stunning panorama. Gullane with 300 years of history is a “must play” for all golfers’.

Day 7
Day off
Enjoy a relaxing day in one of the most beautiful cities in the word, Edinburgh. A beautiful historic city with stunning views and architecture dating back to the 12th century. A vibrant cosmopolitan city that has it all! A visit to Edinburgh castle is a must and a stroll through the Old Town and the Royal Mile is an experience not to be missed. Edinburgh has an abundance of great cafes, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and has a great nightlife entertainment.
Edinburgh, a great place, great people, once visited you’re sure to return.
