For the third time in five years, La Manga Club has been recognised as Europe's top golf resort at a major international award ceremony. At the recent World Travel Awards held in New York, La Manga was named Europe's leading golf resort in 2003.

On the lower slopes of the pine-covered Murcian hills amongst the lemon groves, looking out over the crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean beyond, a luxurious resort has been created in 1,4000 acres of lush rolling countryside, dotted with thousands of palm trees. Here, an area the size of Monaco features three championship golf courses with outstanding practice facilities, one of Europe's finest Tennis centres, and many other excellent sporting and recreational facilities. At the very heart of the resort lies the stunning La Manga Principe Felipe Hotel, whilst many luxuriously appointed villas and apartments cluster in small, dazzling "villages" on its green hillsides. Leisure and pleasure seekers from around the world gather here, drawn by the glorious vistas, Europe's mildest winter climate, and the unique experience which is La Manga Club.

La Manga Club is without doubt any golfer's dream destination with three different 18 hole courses and facilities that equal some of the finest golf resort in the world. The championship North and South courses, pars 71 and 72 respectively, sprawl between palm trees, lakes and barrancas with both 18th greens finishing beside the hotel. The South course is arguably the more difficult due to its extra length and requires a handicap certificate to play. The now well established West course with its stunning views, lush scenery and winding fairways offers golfers the ideal alternative to the ever popular championship North and South courses. Additionally, there's the beautiful Par 47 pitch and putt course for that quick round after tea. All this, ensure that every round played here beneath the swaying palms in the Murcian sunshine is a golfer's delight.
